Hey All:

Been away for awhile but am in the middle of a full cooling system rebop on my '83 900 Turbo. Changing water pump, thermostat, all hoses, heater valve (crumbling), fan switch (got the Wahler one for VWs), flush and fill with 50/50 water and Zerex Dexcool substitute (silicate, phosphate, and borate free). Flushing as per SAABMASTER.

Found the wrong thermostat in place plus a lovely stream coming from the weep hole of my old water pump and a nice slit in the upper heater hose. The radiator is the only worthwhile component in the whole cooling system.

ANYWAY, I found the source of my previous massive oil leak problems while I have the car apart. Seems one of the oil cooler lines is leaking at the oil filter fitting. MY QUESTIONS: Is there an O-ring on that line that needs replacing or do I just put a wrench on the line fitting and tighten? If I must dissassmble the line to fix an O-ring do I need to re-prime?

Would like to know before I start reassembling the cooling system because there's a lot more room with all the hoses out.

Hope nobody blew up their cars while I was gone.
