in fact, i did it earlier this year. it is a lot of work, but worth it in my book. i had a 90 900s that was in great shape. the chassis was well taken care of and i wanted more performance. initially i looked a suping up the n/a engine. but was only told to buy a turbo. then, i looked at adding a lpt to the n/a engine. again, i was discouraged by many. finally, just bought a block and head a started from scratch. machine work, new parts, etc... not cheap, but did it right. and i have a turbo engine sitting in my car (still w/ 900s badging :) ) now, the mentality of this board has changed. a few people have done the lpt-to-n/a addition and had success, and people are actually willing to talk about it. either way, if you like your chassis and want more power, one of those two tasks is completely possible. if you decide to swap a turbo engine into the car, i would be more than willing to help you out with parts needed, and small problems/issues we ran into along the way. email me for more info. good luck.
