I have a 85T and 86T. As far as the crappy wiring harnesses, they both are like this. The insulation comes off a couple of wires and you see smoke or have weird electrical problems. Consumer Reports don't like the 89 model year because they say they are prown to electrical problems. I love all the Saabs I own and have owned. Just be prepared to learn how to work on them or have alot of money to have someone else do the work. 17 years a Saaber and loyal as hell.
