This morning I went to start my 88 900t and the battery was nearly dead, needless to say there wasn't enough juice to get it running. So I jumped it. At lunch I ran some errands and it fired right up, even going here, turning the engine off and then going somewhere else. It never gave me another problem.
I am going to check the trunk light, I know the interior light was off, as were the headlights, brake lights... When I got in I could hear the clock ticking, and thought I can disconnect that(oneless thing to draw) I have had this problem in the past (2-3 months ago) I got the battery replaced, so it's not that.
How can I check to see what voltage the alternator is putting out?
I know it is charging the battery, but I don't know if it's less than normal or what.
I am not going to attakc this problem right away, because it's not constant, but I would like to get it sorted out soon.
Thanks for any ideas
Matt
