Ok, i crimped the vacuum line to the AIC and the idle did drop considerably. It was back where it's supposed to be.
You're right, i havent touched anything and fooled around with anything. I dont want to go adjusting stuff because this doesnt seem just like a bad idle adjustment. The problem comes and goes. I will look for vacuum leaks, but i havent noticed anything yet. I have all new vacuum lines on the car.
I am a little confused though, I understood that 1300rpm means limp home mode, but is the 2000rpm a normal startup rpm? Do you mean that it should be like that in non-limp mode or only in limp-mode?
I havent adjusted anything on the throttle body so i feel unsure of changing settings on there. When it's not over-idling, it's running fine. This seems to be a seperate problem that's not connected to a normal idle adjustment.
Thanks :)
