For an entire new system, thats not that bad... Posted by Jon [Email] (#11) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Jon) on Tue, 4 Dec 2001 10:41:35 In Reply to: After Market alarm 900t 1992, Jeff M., Tue, 4 Dec 2001 08:35:41 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
...considering thats about what i was quoted on average for a clifford (i believe) system. The other system i was quoted on cost 500 which included a button to close/open the windows and sunroof and adds remote start (which i couldn't use since i have a manual transmission. Assuming their system comes with the usual: Door, hood, trunk/hatch, shock, and (maybe) glass breakage sensors, plus the siren/brains, remotes, and labor, that really isn't that bad unless its some really generic alarm system (like a house brand or something). If they were charging that much for labor i'd call it insane, but for a whole new system and install, you could do MUCH worse.
