Agreed. The most unplowed snow I've driven through was 13" =/-. It was blowing across a remote empty parking lot all day and really dense/packed. I fool in an Eclipse with ground effects was stopped in his tracks as he entered the lot - the heavy snow instantly accumulated in front of him. I dug the Saab out (drifted up against car/over hood - way more than a mere 13") and with a little rocking got her going. As John pointed out, the only time the car slowed was when enough dense drifted snow was squeezed under the car and broke my traction (you could feel it, weird and fun). Nonetheless, I zipped *up* the incline that did in the Mitsu as he tried to go *down* it! Had Blizzaks on. I thought I was a goner without the Hakka 1's on, but the Blizzaks did well.
