I've driven through snow deep enough to shoot over the hood and blast off the windshield (a "face shot" to you powder skiiers out there), but that snow was unusually dry and light. I've also gotten hung up on freezing slush while parking on city streets.
The 900 is a really good snow car, but if the snow is deep enough to get packed underneath the car and lift the carriage, then the tires lose their grip.
If the snow is light enough, it's really cool to step out of the car, and look back to see an underbody-shaped trench through the snow.
