Since it gets worse when its wet, I suspect ignition. You've replaced everything but the plug wires??
Look at my post for Missing Engine, just above.
My '89 gave me fits till I realized it ate plug wires faster than any other car I've owned. Take off the sparkplug cover, wait till dark, look for arcing.
The ignition miss was giving the AIC fits as it tried to hold the idle steady. All symptoms seemed to indicate a bad AIC.
I got Bosch wires with a lifetime warranty. They don't last forever, but I've had them replaced for free 4 times now. Guess they didn't figure I'd have the car for 215k miles.
