To answer your summer question, it is summer over here in Australia and my 85 c900 Aero Turbo sits at 3/4 in really hot (90F +) all day long. The fans keep cycling on and off making it hover between 1/2 and 3/4. If you have concerns, turn on the A/C and the second fan comes in as well. Sitting in a workshop you have no airspeed from any forward movement...so your cooling system is working, it semms, to spec.
Happy Saabing! You'll love it!
