We like it because over here SPG's came with only the two SAAB-SCANIA emblems...one on the hood and one on the hatch....and SAAB right beside the emblem on the hatch. This lent to the SPG's mystique. Most US manufactured autos typically spare no badging...some are outright gaudy.
I know that SPG's in every other market (more correctly Aero models) came with all the above badging and the Turbo "S" 16-valve aero...on the other side of the hatch.
So....most of us here that don't own an SPG would like to have one but for some reason or another don't, well...we make our cars closer by doing things like removing badging or buying a set of SPG wheels and putting them on our car(I'm guilty with the wheels)or buying the body panels, etc. etc.
Others may have differing theories.
