You shouldn't have to. Solid state amps typically handle standard 8 and 4 ohm loads without any adjustments. In your case, it should also handle the 2 ohm load, if it truly works at 1 ohm. There are no adjustments to make. Just let it rip.
Back when people used tube amps (or, for those of us who still use them) the amp had output taps for different impedances. This was to properly match the output windings to the speakers, the primary side, and the output stage impedances. Most transformers had 16, 8, and 4 Ohm taps. But that doesn't apply to most car audio installations... I say "most" because I'm on a tube audio mailing list with guys who run tube amps in their cars.
