There is nothing you can do, short of adding a second speaker or the dual voice coil speaker to get higher sound pressure levels. I assume this is your motivation. If you add a 4 ohm resistor in parallel with your 4 ohm speaker, your net load decreases to 2ohms, which will usually make an amp double it's power output (if it's capable). The problem is half the "doubled power" will be consumed by the added resistor, so the speaker will still be getting the same amount of power as running it on the amp alone(no resistor). If you want more power, you need to buy a speaker with lower impedance; the dual voice coil should do nicely and will add a little to the SPL. Simply adding a second speaker in parallel with current one will add 3dB (twice the SPL) and won't dissipate all the energy as heat. Hope this helps.
