That sounds amazing.
Anyway, as far as I understand, the reason that my amp will run at 4 ohms is b/c the speaker 'tells' it to, it is a 4 ohm speaker. So If you hook up two 4 ohm speakers to one output channel, the speakers are doubling the work and the amp has to drop to 2 ohms to accomodate the new power requirement. But I only have one speaker here, so I want to drop the impedance of the amp. When you have a dual voice coil sub, you have 2 speaker inputs, and it is essentially the same as 2 subs. That is the setup I have with my Blau Overdrive sub. But with my single voice coil sub, I'm looking to basically trick the amp into thinking that it needs to drop to 2 ohms and therefore almost double in power. I'm thinking maybe a 2 ohm resistor in the speaker line might do the job.
Thanks for the input Randy!
