Rebuilt front end...loose now...any tips??

Hey All,
Bought an 88 SPG back in Feb of Saabnet and decided to give my mechanical abilities to a test.
In the mist of ordering parts, I decided to rebuilt the front end to my likings.
Replaced the following:
TRW components; Ball joints, tie rod ends
wheel bearings
rebuilt power steering rack
Koni adjustable (set at 2 clicks)
poly sway bar bushings (inner/outer)
Zimmerman x-drilled brakes
PBR brake pads
SS brake lines
Intrax springs
CV joint boots
CV joints (removed/cleaned and repacked with new grease)…mechanic confirmed they are reusable
Replaced all these parts and had a aligned performed to the front end…..The problem I am now is the front end seems loose, when I turn the steering wheel side to side the reaction is not as sharp as I thought it would be. I doubled/triple checked all my torque specifications as per Bentley but still loose.
My only thought is the axle nut is set to 150 ft-lb not 214-229….I will have it set to specs next week…
Any thoughts or opinions would be appreciated
PS…confirmed that A-arms are not damaged or any cracks…also bushings in A-Arm are acceptable..
Thanx
Alex
