any ideas on how to configure the charcoal canister once the lh system is removed? i am adding an aftermarket ecu shortly and noticed from bentley that the charcoal canister is driven off the ecu (valve actuated based on engine speed, helps control vapors, etc.). i realize it is for emission control, but could i vent the canister to atmosphere? this wouldn't ideal, but is it doable? what about blanking the system off? i assume the canister is needed to control fuel tank pressure? i would hate to use one of the two auxiliary drives off the aftermarket system to drive the elcd. not only would it limit other use, but it would be hard to get dialed in like the stock system to get fuel/air mixture correct. any ideas/comments? thanks.
