... well, injectors must be firing at least a couple times if the car will momentarily start, right? As I said, if I manually run the fuel pump for a few seconds, then try to start, it will run for a short period of time (1-2 seconds) If I don't manually run the fuel pump first, it will just crank.
Justin's point makes sense. If LH doesn't want to turn on the fuel pump, why would it want to turn on injectors? Yet if the above is true, it's doing it.
JohnK, I did check the alt ground yesterday...sorry didn't mention that in an earlier message. No such luck, I'm afraid.
I figure maybe I'll try to run the Townsend LH 2.4 no start tests for as long as she'll keep cranking. After that I guess I call the tow truck.. Or I could try my fuel pump jump idea and see if it will start and run long enough to charge the battery back up. Is there any danger (other than failure to run) associated with jumping the fuel pump fuses like that?
