Great news...for once we didn't rule out an easy fix! I have a hunch that you'll be back in business once you shorten the wastegate rod. Loosen the lock nut and pin while cold, to ease adjustment when hot. When you loosen the lock nut and free up the adjustment collar, hold the control rod with a pliers so you don't twist the diaphram (WD-40 is appropriate on nut and rod threads).
Bentley says that it only takes 2 turns per PSI but I have found that if you're at 3.0 psi base, from 3 to 4 psi will take several turns. I'd set to between 5 and 5.5 psi. At 6 psi it is likely that you will hit the fuel cutoff at WOT and max boost. You can adjust so you're just below cutoff. With your injectors and rrfpr, you should not hit knock sensor at all, if you can get 94 sunoco. Maybe even with a good batch of 93 octane.
