The only reason I asked is it takes some people 2 weeks just to use one tank of gas... How much water did you get, & what did you do to get rid of it? I still wonder if maybe there's some water left in the tank. Maybe after driving & getting shaken up, it only gets in the pump a little bit at a time.
If the O2 sensor is too old, you may as well replace it. But the O2 sensor really doesn't do anything till it warms up & starts working. Maybe 20 seconds or so for the heated ones (like yours). Earlier years didn't have a preheater, so it took longer for the sensor to get hot just from the exhaust. You could check for 12v power to the preheater, which is the big 2-wire connector.
AMM is a good suspect, but I usually don't like just swapping parts without knowing what's really wrong. If you've got a spare, give it a try. Otherwise, see what codes are stored & go from there.
