My Mechanic Quit--I'm Hosed.

This has been the summer from hell for our 1984 4dr Ox Blood Red 900T... First, the brakes died...Mechanic fixed that. $400
Then, the 5-speed's clutch died... Mechanic fixed that. $700
And in the heat of the summer, The A/C compressor died...Mechanic fixed that... $800.
Of course all this comes on top of thousands of dollars over the past two years of new steering assemblies, shocks, radiator hoses and belts, you name it. We even put in a new roof liner.
Now I'm waiting for the sunroof to jam, the Leather seats to evaporate or the rear hatch to fall off as I long for a simple Solara, Camry, Accord, or other car that manages to avoid my mechanic.
He, by the way, got angry at his boss, and quit and he was the only mechanic in Raleigh-Durham that I trusted with our "classic". I do not look forward to the next "challenge" our 900-T encounters. When it's out of the shop, it's an incredible car! It screams.
