No, the FPR didn't rupture... just a preemptive strike. I bought the car about a year ago, and it looks like at sometime the whole fuel rail system was apart and put back together without new washers/seals etc. First had a leak at the input(banjo) of the fuel rail... new washers installed, then at the exit of the fuel rail(banjo)... again new washers. Then leak at exit of FPR. Put in new FPR + soft return line. Used old clamps. Leak went to bottom of soft return line. Installed better clamp. Then leak at at exit of FPR.. that's current problem. I put in a better clamp there this morning. But the series of events has me worried. If it starts to leak again I will try with a pump to see if the line is blocked somehow. A friend told me though if the return line was blocked, the fuel pump wouldn't last long. True?
Thanks again.
Jeff
