I've got 190k on mine and will be having put in a used '91-'94 185hp 16 valve when mine dies. It is running same as before but I now have a loud exhaust sound until I drive a bit. It almost sounds like an old VW Bug until I drive some. It doesn't seem to be temp related because I can let it sit for 1/2 hour and the engine is still warm at start up and it will make the loud bug sound again for a while 5-10 min. I was worried something was getting into engine but coolant level isn't changing and oil seems the same as before. If a seal was loose on the engine why would it stop after 5 or 10 min? Hope it's not something serious.
Best, KB
