You know that sometimes people need to learn a lesson the hard way. Well, I have learned the hard way and shall never tip a beer then drive.
I do have a lawyer but since we have NO money (in the process of moving to Oregon) I had only one choice, that was to take a court appointed lawyer.
Offically the police report states that this is a no fault collision. The problem is that the woman in the minivan was doing at least 25mph to spin my saab around 180 and wipe out the whole drivers side from the front wheel well to the beginning of the rear wheel well. So, she wasn't going from a stop she also blew through the intersection, and I'm thinking she was traveling faster than 25mph. The speed limit on that cross street is 20mph. She was also very young although I couldn't quite tell exactly what age because the police couldn't find my perscription glasses for over 2hours.
If I can get this dui down to negligent driving then do you fellas think i have a case for getting some money out of her insurance for the old saab?
thanks again for the comments
