RS, thanks for the reply, your advice is always helpful (and re-assuring that i'm not the only with problems, which is how i ALWAYS feel when my car acts up).
My dilema is that i have to take a few road trips this weekend (2 roundtrips of 90 minutes each segment), which includes getting to a wedding on Sunday, which my own fiancee (not my wedding... yet) will be VERY upset if we miss part of because of car trouble).
You think i'm safe as the battery light now works, or do i have to resort to renting a car for the weekend? At the end of the day today i'm going to get to the store and p/u one of those batteries with cables attached that jump start the car, but i'll probably only have time to charge it 12 hours or so before heading out (i think they recommend 24 hours).
