I was having an intermittent problem, but now it's getting to be more predictable. At first it was occasional and only in 1st gear, now it's nearly every shift...
When my clutch is on the floor and I begin to lift it up, about 1 or 2 inches from the floor the car wants to "jump" forward a little, instead of the normal smooth transition of lifting the pedal. It's not a violent jump, but it can take me by surprise if I'm not ready for it.
Is this the clutch slipping? If so, what will I want to replace? What else will I want to look at while I'm in there? I'd like to knock this problem out before it's too cold to work in the unheated garage.
Thanks!
Randy
Did putting Dio's Holy Diver CD in the car start this whole process? :)
