Depends on whether you need a clutch kit, master cylinder, slave cylinder, and flywheel!
And yes, bringing parts to a shop is generally insulting unless you have access to parts the shop doesn't. Essentially, you're taking the parts markup away from the shop. Try negotiating the price of the parts since you know what they cost (but recognize that the shop deserves a markup for carrying the parts, ordering them, covering them if they fail so you don't have to have them removed and returned, etc., etc., ).
If you don't like the shop's prices on parts, take your biz elsewhere.
