It turned out that my summit fuel pressure gauge was busted! Anyway, I've got a new one in there and everything is fine. I can't get my fuel pressure as low as Jak (17psi), but I'm not sure I want to (no disrespect Jak, what you've done sounds awesome). As mentioned, it's now around 2bar at idle (vac disconnected)
I do have an autometer a/f and it does indicate closed loop...longer now than I've ever seen it. In fact, when running at sustained WOT, I notice it go back from open to closed after a bit... kinda wierd. Generally though, it'll stay in closed loop at just about any fixed-throttle rpm/boost level. It's awesome.
It's been raining down here ever since I got it working, so I haven't been able to keep enough traction to the ground to really push the car too hard for thurough testing. I don't know if I'm going to hit overboost or not. We'll see what she really does when it dries up.
Kevin, thanks for the help
