I was driving along on the interstate the other day in my 1991 saab 900 turbo, then when i went to pass someone, my APC gauge hit like mid Yellow/Orange(depending on your sun fade), and the rpms did not drop or the speed put it feels like something is skipping a beat at high boost in higher gears. It occurs in 5th and 4th. It does not make sense that it is joints or anything since it would do it in all gears, and it almost feels as if it is comming from the right front side. Tires have correct pressure, and are tight, cv, power steering boots all new so it should not be anything with those. It is weird that it only happens as you pass halfway through yellow in the apc gauge, i get good boost acceleration still if i hold it under that point but as soon as i hit that point its like a skipping slight jerkyness. is there something wrong with my turbo, distributor or can you suggest any other reasons? has anyone else had this problem before? any help would be greatly appresiated. thank you
