Make sure car gets nice and hot. Have car idle at mechanics before smogging. Turn lights on. If you know the guy smogging your car, unplug fan sensor so car gets even hotter, make sure you plug it back in if it gets to hot. Put low octane gas in-no octane booster. You can try the stuff you add before called emissions 104 or something like it. It will help a little. Increase idle before you get there to 950. Back timing down to 14 or 15. My 88 spg just passed with rrfpr, k&n filter, ford motor sport inj(24lbs), amm set at 220plu other goodies. I turned down rrfpr to 2.5 bar. I also have a new o2. Ca. is going to rolling dyno test starting at the middle of next year. My smog said that my car would not pass that test. Would have to put stock injectors back in and what-not. Not looking forward to that.
