Facts on fuel pump replacement

Well I replaced my fuel pump in my 90 900s and I wanted to share my experience for anybody that has to do it in the future. The bently manual is confusing on this subject so I will elaborate.
1. The Check valve is on the return fuel line (Bently confuses the reader, I thought it was both fuel lines)
2. The plastic hose's are more durable than you think, so don't be intimidated, also if you can't get the check-valve in just cut the fuel line and replace it with rubber fuel line and put the check valve into it with small hose clamps.
3. Placement of the fuel pump is wrong in the manual. It say's to line up
a mark on the fuel pump to the northwest of the car (north being the front
of the car) when actually the mark should face southeast. It's backwards so when you take the pump out, put it back the way it was (bently is wrong on this) and don't follow the picture in the manual.
4. You don't need the special SAAB tool to get the plastic collar out.
use a hammer and screwdriver to "break the seal" of the collar and use the handles of a big pair of pliers to span the distance of the collar. Use a hammer or a crowbar in the open mouth of the pliers to get leverage
and unscrew the collar.
other than that I bought my pump from eEuropart's and it was a bargain at $75, free shipping and prompt service. Now this pump should run another 150k.
I hope this help's some future classic SAAB owner. I wish I would have know this stuff before I started.
