I've done one on an '89 base and a 9k (both Walbro style as well). There is a checkvalve in the SUPPLY line. There is an anti back flow valve or some such in the RETURN (to the tank from the FPR) line of some, if not all, Saabs. If you replaced this valve with a NEW checkvalve, you should be running at about 90 psi at the rail! You will probably pop off the rubber return line or the rubber line in the tank shortly as well. I do not think that the return line valve is available nor is it necessary (IMO - $0.02, YMMV standard disclaimers, blah blah). The supply line valve should be there to shorten crank times at startup. I had to start me checkvalve by forcing it open (it seemed to be stuck closed and the pump would not force it open). Once cycled, it has worked fine for a few years. A brass or steel former inside the rigid plastic fuel line is suggested so that the hose clamp has something to clamp against.
