Depending on the damage you can also do just the front part of the fender with a splice at the top of the wheel well. Saab sells/sold half fenders for just this need. Also if you can find a proper color fender it fine condition and work carefully you can do a fender and just touch up the welds with paint. Also again depending on degree of damage it may be less work to pull out and repair the existing fender. FYI - there are welds in four areas: around the wheel well lip, in the door jamb around the hinges, above the wheel well to the inner fender( two welds ) and below the bumper under the washer bottle.
