easier start ups, protect your turbo better because the syn oil is more resistant to heat. Also the syn oil doesn't break down and create nasty stuff as fast as dino oil. You can run syn for 10k miles with a filter change at 5k and save time and the enviroment. If you want to be really sure about it do oil analysis to make sure your syn is still good at 10k miles. You don't need to flush as the syn will clean out your engine but you should do a filter change after say 2k miles as the cleaned out gunk will be filling up your filter.
Your turbo will thank you for the syn oil.
Best, KB88900T Mobil 1 10w30 '91T engine with 82k and new seals.
Again, if your seals are good you will be fine with syn oil.
