It's always sad to hear of great well cared for machines and people getting wrecked by others driving carelessly.
I lost an '87 900S last fall (smoked engine) and replaced it with an '89 9KT.
I was happy for a little while but I find myself constantly looking for my next 900. At the same time I wouldn't get rid of my 9KT for anything. I'll hit 200,000 miles before spring and the car seems real solid as long as the maintenance is taken care of.
Moral of the story. Be very careful, you may end up loving both models and require one of each. LOL
The 900's handling seemed more tight. The 9000 can haul like a pick up.
Good Luck
Arik
