I bought an 85 with 150k and the beat the thing, never changed the oil, never did any regular maintaining brought it down to Mexico drove it another 120K (270k total) and "donated" it to the Mexican police who continue to use it without 2nd and 3rd gears . but Id say average is about 250k most people get rid of their cars before the motor has gone ie trans, electric etc.
