It's got to be way up there to start cracking oil filters.
My guess is that the oil pressure relief valve is stuck closed.
Laying on your back with your head near the steering rack and your feet by the front bumber, there is a screw on the left of the crank pulley. Once you remove the screw there is a spring loaded plug that goes in and out when to keep the pressure around 75 psi max. My guess is that this plug is not opening up and the pressure is going way above 75.
A fuel pressure gauge would verify this.
Any good saab mechanic should be able to check this for you.
