I used a perfect 12.1 for a bit & I was very happy with the SQ. Unfortunantly my box did not seal properly but the SQ was still first rate! I used the perfect sub in conjunction with the perfect 6.1 component set in my kick panels. However that car is now at the scrap yard & I had different buildout made for my daily car & I used a set of OZ Audio 6.5 componets in that car. I hated the huge box the 12's require so I downsized to a single 10 & since my local shop sells Boston that is who I used. Very similar in quality/build design of the infinity & the box is only .5 cu ft :o) I did loose some low end response but it's something I can & do live with!
In my beater car this is my stereo setup
Eclipse CD-8061 (16v balanced outputs :o)
OZ CX-180 (6.5 in component set)
Boston Pro 10.5 (2 ohm)
Adcom GFA-5475 (75x4 bridged to 2 channels)
Adcom GFA-5275 (sub amp)
However, I think I will be swapping the eclipse deck to my other SPG as well as the amps & use the perfect 6.1's in that. I will then get the cheapest deck I can find & run that to a PPI amp I have laying around :o)
