I just did the exact same thing to my car about 2 weeks ago. I have a '91 900S 2.1L as you, and put on the Walker/Starla Turbo system cat-back from eeuroparts. Trust me, it is not THAT loud at all. It does have a much better throne to it when you get on it. I can send you video/audio files of it if you want. E-mail me Duthiej@marietta.edu.
Your cat is 4 bolt and you will have NO problems bolting up the turbo system to your cat at all.
