noise in my 91 NA is quite a bit louder - turbo is really effective at muffling - but the bulk of NA noise is from engine bay. My 91, w/only the mid-muffler, sounds like a stock Honda Accord. I'd like to hear a 16V NA with just a Starla/Walker mid-muffler. Just looking for moderate/subjective growl, and yes - I don't want to go overboard to too loud, as do a fair bit of highway cruising
Opinion also varies on the back-pressure issue: if going too low is detrimental for a NA
Maybe I'll look at one mid muffler using something like a MSS or Magnaflow. I'll keep researching.
The midpipes are different diameters, but I believe same flange size. There may be cat length differences, too. Thanks for the ideas
