Turbo is the selling point (long) Posted by Rob [Email] (#1828) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Rob) on Tue, 11 Mar 2003 01:05:53 In Reply to: gird up your loins and fix it (long), nt moore, Tue, 11 Mar 2003 00:47:48 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
The whole thing with getting the 900T is the fact that sure, it might have some of the same problems, but the fact is, it looks nicer. It's more fun to drive (turbo! woo!).. If my parents loan me the money, it'll still end up costing me less, and if there are/is a problem, it won't feel like I'm wasting money trying to keep the poor thing on the road. All this work would be easy for me to perform myself - provided I had tools. I don't even have a floor jack. If a 900T that only cost me a grand or two more than my current car, has the same problems, but is more fun to drive and the most annoying problems arent currently there, I'd be happier. I drive a LOT (school to work from work to another job to home/wherever daily about 80 miles), need my car 7 days a week, and if, say, the 900T has only little problems (belts squeak, harmonic balancer? just a loose belt? rust on front of hood, everything else perfect, easy to get out maybe?), when big ones appear, no problem, and it wont be i'm shelling out hundreds of dollars to the point where I've put more into the car than what I could EVER sell it for.
