I removed/replaced the CV axle, and had the outer reworked (entailed only polishing the outer assy and replacing the cage/balls). The shop said the inner tripod bearing was ok. Used the grease he supplied. Can you tell me how you deduced the inner driver needs replacement? Saab indies I've taken the car ('90 TC) haven't mentioned anything. Then again , it has gotten worse. Lastly, how hard is the inner axle driver?
I need the check valve b/c I replaced the walbro 18 months ago, didn't know to ask about the check valve (& the sponsor didn't offer advice) So I've been living w/ the long start time, pumping up the fuel line. Also, the two lines look very similar to me.
