On my '85 the washer nozzles clogged ... I never got around to cleaning them before the car was totaled.
Open the hood and pull the washer fluid hose off of the nozzles. Point the hoses away from your engine (and any friends who might be standing around, though this would be a good april fool's prank), then actuate the washer lever and see if fluid flows out. If it flows then you've got clogged nozzles. You might also pull of the check valves that are inline to the nozzles, they also are a common failure. I'm pretty sure the washer pump is completely electric so if you don't get flow at all then it's either bad wiring or a dead pump. Good luck!
