I am not familiar with Blaupunt products however usually with decks the power rating is MAX & not RMS power so 20x4 is actually 8-10 wattsx4 RMS.

That being said, I would run channels 1 & 2 of the amp to all 4 speakers. Is tha amp capable of running at a 2 ohm load? Read the manual to see if it is, usually amps can handle it. Run new wires from the fron speakers as well as rear speakers to the amp. On channel 1 of the amp run both + speaker (drivers side) wires to the + side of channel 1. Then take the - side of the front & rear speakers on the the - side of the same channel 1 on the amp. Repeat this process for channel 2 on the amp however use the passenger side speakers, + to + & - to - :o) Doing this will make the amp see a 2 ohm load which will almost double the power output of the amp, so 100 x2 RMS.

On the channels 3 & 4 read the manual & see how the amp states to run mono. Probably channel 3 + & channel 4 - will be used but it is different for different manufacturers.

You will not have front/rear fade going this way however you will not use the deck's power which will clean thing up a lot & give you a lot more power!!! You will probably need to buy capacitors for the 4's ($5) which will block the bass from going into the speakers, probably 200-400 hz & up.

Look at the back of the deck & see if there are 1 pair or 2 pairs of RCA cables. If the deck has 2 pr you can buy another RCA cable so you would then have subwoofer fading. If your radio only has 1 pr (Left & Right) then you do not need another RCA cable.

Like others stated, the remote on simply tells the amp when to turn on/off. That way the amp doesn't remain on when the car is not running :o)

hope it helps
