To be honest with you....it's pretty hard to find an SPG for sale thats in excellent condition, in the past few years I have looked at quite a few different ones for sale, and have seen very few that were in good shape, most had rust issues, faded paint/peeling clearcoat, ratty interior, oil leaks, bad exhaust systems, sagging springs &worn out shocks, and some smoked heavily &consumed a fair ammount of oil, also..I have seen a few with electrical/ground issued. So basically, if you found one that is mechinally sound, has a straight body, minimal rust, fairly good interior ¬ a million miles on the odometer.....I would say buy away! I have owned 3 SPG's, I bought them because they looked in great shape &ran excellent, and I still had some troubles with them. Like I said, it's hard to find one the in GREAT shape.....There old, but if you love these cars, and have patience, there a good car to have :)
Just some insight!
