My 87 NA does not have AIC, so don't look for that. It has no PCV valve. The PCV runs to the throttle body, so if oil were blowing past, it would have to travel down through the air ducts to get to the air filter housing. See if the ducts are dripping oil. If not, you can rule out the PVC system. If it is from PVC it si usually blow-by which is either bad valve seals, bad piston rings, either or both. By process of elimination, I would say your fuel distributor is leaking. But try & ask an expert about that, maybe call Jim Moncreif or Anders. Maybe they can tell you about the idle (there is a fuel distributor from an 87 on ebay now)
