Is that Amsoil 20/50 just synth engine oil?

Just plain engine oil doesn't help the syncros. Redline MTL and Honda MTF have additives for the syncros so they grip properly. Just plain synth is too slipery. Due to the heat our trannies recieve I would think that reg dino would breakdown quite fast.
You talk about the Saab indys but what do they think about how in the past Saab saying that one never needed to change out the tranny lube ever! And that came from the top Saab indys at Saab. Doesn't that seem crazy.
We will see how the Honda stuff pans out in our trannies.
