Actually, Mobil says to "follow the manufacturer's recommended change intervals." So this might be 3mos/3k miles, or it might be 2yrs/15k miles. They used to say you could go longer (just like Amsoil), but fear of the American penchant for litigation (& the effects it has on public relations & cash flow) has forced them to restate their position. UOAs of both Mobil 1 & Amsoil oils show them to be quite capable of surviving greatly extended drain intervals.
