i had one break in a parking lot just minutes before autocrossing...
yes, get new ones. scantechs are fine & are a *lot* less expensive than the ones from europe. may want to go ahead & do the bushings while you're at it & inspect your cv boots while you're down there, too.
my theory is that the a-arms' weakness is exascerbated by parallel parking with the wheel cranked against the curb.
