1989 900 T automatic...just put on the road....
Question is....does the base boost affect the maximum boost level...(I don't think it does, but thought I should ask)
I just adjusted my wastegate actuator for about 5psi with the APC solenoid disconnected....now I'm boosting halfway into the red....It's REAL fun, but I suspect the poor car won't last long with that much boost. Previously, I had to rotate the turbo housing a bit to make the auto trans dipstick fit properly. That messed up the WG actuator adjustment, and it was stuck open...only got about 1 psi of boost.
I'm assuming the APC has been previously treaked, my gauge is off, or my wastegate isn't opening properly. I'll play around with it more tomorrow, just looking for more ideas...
