Going from long ago memory:
Jumper the fuel pump relay so it runs continuosly,
Remove the curved rubber bellows that goes from the fuel distributor (thing with the 4 line going to each fuel injector),
Remove one of the injectors; big phillips screw for the hold down bracket at the injectors, gently pull straight out on one of injectors to remove it from the mainifold.
Put the injector in a 1 quart container to catch any fuel.
Get a big magnet or a small pair of vise-grips. grab the bolt head in the center of the fuel distributor air flap (round aluminum disk in the middle of the fuel dist.)
With the fuel pump running, pull up gently on the disk. If your fuel pump/filter/lines are good you will get a spray of fuel out of the injector.
If you get fuel sprayed out, have good spark, but the car still won't start, there is something wrong with the fuel dist; control pressure is bad, plunger is sticking (you forced the plunger to move with the preceding test), or the internals are gummed up.
Ill see if I can find some documentation on troubleshooting a CIS system.
